  
At the Rice House we have a cooking class that features homemade sushi. Many Ricers are pleased to learn that you can enjoy sushi without eating raw fish!
Of course the kit includes the basics like rice and a rolling mat, but it also includes a few items that are unique to making sushi the Rice Diet way – like plain instead of seasoned rice vinegar, and two sauces to try instead of soy sauce.
The Rice Diet sushi kit includes: A bamboo rolling mat, nori seaweed, organic sushi rice, plain rice vinegar, wasabi powder, no salt added sushi ginger, sesame seeds (white or black), Zing Sauce, low sodium Worcestershire sauce and easy to follow instructions (with photos!). You provide the fresh ingredients like carrots, cucumbers, green onions and avocado.
Ricers who have learned to make sushi tell us that they enjoy making it for (and with) their friends and family. It seems to be a favorite kitchen activity to do with grandchildren. You might consider a kit as a gift for a hostess, birthday or adventurous cook.
